Creative Consultancy
Sometimes content feels a little flat. A slide deck that needs spark. A powerful message that isn’t quite landing. A brilliant training idea that just needs the right analogy, metaphor, activity, concept, or image to bring it to life.
That’s where I come in. I wear my “creative hat” to support and offer guidance to curriculum designers, educators, trainers, therapists, and others who want to translate psychological ideas and/or trauma-informed principles into something that truly connects emotionally, visually, and practically; and that is more engaging, accessible, and creative.
How We Can Help
- Idea enriching suggestions and turning abstract concepts into compelling visuals, metaphors, analogies, images, or stories.
- Breathing life into word-heavy toolkits, trainings, or frameworks
- Transforming ideas into interactive formats such as worksheets, games, and activities.
- Translating complex or adult-focused content for different audiences, such as children or in a trauma context.
- Creative support for curriculum, training, and resource development
- Bringing trauma-informed or psychological ideas to life

I help you find the creative bridge
With a background as a clinical psychologist, trainer, and author of multiple creative therapeutic resources (books, card decks, activities), I bring psychological depth and a love for language, design, metaphor, and visual thinking.
This is even better for those who struggle to think creatively or to convey complex concepts- or just are super busy and don’t have the thinking space or want another mind to bounce ideas off (I tend to give ideas rather than create- however depending on costs and scope this can be possible, however, this is more of a consultancy service).
Projects I am currently working on to give a flavour and sense:
- National organizations creating trauma-informed curricula.
- Teams refreshing old training materials to make them more engaging.
- Therapeutic projects turning theory into colourful, accessible resources.
- Supporting an organization to make their materials for parents and carers more engaging and trauma informed.
- Giving lots of creative ideas for a new curricula for teenage girls around aspects such as friendships, bullying, boundaries, anxiety, sleep and much more- giving creative ideas of conveying the materials.
- Supporting several organizations in Africa to combine their materials with creative metaphors and activities to bring the materials alive.
- Supporting a few HR teams to look at ways of making their policies more visual, engaging, and creative.
- Supporting the design of a community mural.
- Mapping out organizational change through visual metaphors and images.
- And many others.
